Pharohs, Greeks and WWII Remains

Day 1: Arrive Cairo airport. Meet and Assist. Dinner. Transfer to the hotel for overnight.

Day 02: Full day tour in Cairo including one of the World’s seven wonders represented in the great pyramids and Sphinx. Continue visiting the most comprehensive ancient Egyptian site represented in the Egyptian museum. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 03: Drive to the Red Sea (AinSokhnaOrRasSudr). Enjoy the day at the Red Sea Shores. A wonderful chance for a swim and perhaps snorkeling. Overnight.

Day 04: Enjoy the daytime at the Red Sea. Then, drive back to Cairo for overnight.

Day 05: Drive to St. Macarius monastery located on Cairo-Alexandria Road. View all the ancient icons and on to Alexandria for overnight.

Day 06: Proceed to visit the new biblioteca, the Greco Roman Catacomb, Pompey’s pillar (Kom El Shokafa), and the former king’s residence represented in the Montazah palace. Overnight in Alexandria.

Day 07: Visit El Alamin where the cemeteries of the Italian, British and German were located during World War II and on to visit the War Museum. Drive back to Cairo. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 08: Departure.
